The Addiction Treatment Facility offers a six-week partial hospitalization program for substance dependency. Patients are housed in billeting while in treatment. Treatment begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; phones are also staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Referrals are received from OCONUS military outpatient alcohol and drug programs, Army ASAP, Air Force ADAPT, and Navy DAPA. Evaluations for the ATF six-week partial program are initiated at the above substance abuse outpatient programs that send all the necessary documentation for referral purposes. Once the ATF accepts a referral, there may be a waiting period as admissions occur every two weeks, and there may be a waiting list. Treatment is comprehensive and all personal issues will be evaluated and treated. During the last two weeks of treatment, spouses are invited to attend daily programming that will include four sessions of couples counseling. Treatment modalities include: group therapy, individual counseling, 12 Step Education, social skills training, modern evidenced-based treatment such as motivational interviewing, and attendance at local 12 Step Meetings.
